Recently a customer asked us to take down a diseased Spruce tree in Haywards Heath.
It was a very tall tree, as you can see in this view from the top. As it was diseased it represented a real risk to surrounding homes.
The technique we use it to climb the tree, removing branches as we go.
Our tree surgeon uses special climbing spurs to climb the tree and is secured by a harness and ropes.
When the tree surgeon reaches a point where the tree is too slender to climb, the top of the tree is removed and the trees surgeon descends cutting off the trunk above him.
All the debris was removed and the stump was ground out. Another happy customer!
